How to Choose a Vape Part

We want to help you get through the shopping and buying process with educated and informed decisions. Vaporizers are not that new anymore, but they are still new to some. Plus with all of the options available, finding the right vape part can sometimes feel overwhelming. Continue reading as we outline the most important things to know.

510 Thread Atomizers & More

The 510 threading started in the e cig world and remains the most widely used threading. However, other threads exist such as 710 and 610 threading. So when shopping for a new heating chamber, know your thread. But also, threading can be the same, but the width, depth, and exact connection design can still be different from atomizer to atomizer.

Wax Coils & Atomizers

More often with wax vape pens, replacing the coil is something that you should expect. Either purely for a fresh coil to taste a new wax or because a coil has burned out, replacements will be needed. There are coil designs that will last longer than others, and with care they can last a very long time, but wax is sticky and over time it is best to have a replacement versus a vape session that has to abruptly end.

Filter Screens for Clear Pathway

If a dry herb vape becomes difficult to hit, it is likely due to a clogged filter screen. Simply clean or replace the screen and the vapor will more easily travel up through the mouthpiece. Wax vapes often end up with this issue as well and it is just the nature of the process. Whether herb or wax, the stickiness causes the materials to build up over time.

Looking for Bigger, Smoother Vapors

With dry herb vaporizers, turn the heat down for smoother, cooler vapors. And for bigger hits, turn the heat up. With wax vapes, to achieve bigger, smoother hits, simply get a glass globe atomizer that allows vapor to build inside and cool. In addition, the more vapor that builds, the bigger the hit that will come.
