Our History
The Vaping Outlet opened it’s first location in October of 2013 in Pocatello, Idaho. The company was initially launched by owners (Trent & Heidi Carrell) to offer an alternative to cigarettes, and an effective way to help individuals stop smoking. Within a few years, the company rapidly expanded to include five other locations throughout Eastern Idaho. The Vaping Outlet focuses on providing a large selection of premium products to our customers including; name brand devices and premium e-juice at a great value.
Our Mission is to help individuals reach their goal of becoming tobacco free by providing the highest quality alternative products, dedicated customer service, and ongoing community vaping advocacy.
Trent’s Biography
I was one of those knuckle-headed kids that starting smoking Marlboros at the age of 15. Within weeks, I was hooked (but didn’t know it) and what became a lifelong addiction had begun. By the time I was 25, I didn’t want to smoke anymore but found it difficult to stop. I didn’t feel that bad at the time, after all, I still played racquetball and was active with no real effects on my health that I could discern.
By the time I was 35, I was married, had three kids, a great life and definitely wanted to quit smoking. I tried nicotine gum, lozenges, patches, Welbutrin, and Cold Turkey. Nothing worked. I was well and truly hooked. The End. So I thought anyway…
In 2012, I saw someone puffing on an E-Cig, became curious and checked it out. Soon enough, I had purchased myself a state of the art (at the time) Ego setup and tried it out. I found that I didn’t miss my cigarettes and much preferred staying in a warm house vaping a pleasant tasting E-Cig. It allowed me to keep all of the things about my habit that I loved, while ditching the tar, smell, stains, bad breath and isolation that came with analog cigarettes. For me, it made quitting smoking effortless!
I knew that if this worked for me, a die hard smoker who couldn’t quit for 24 years, it would work for others.
